In Depth with the Repour: Blogtv vs. Stickam

Here at the Repour we try to give you the most complete stories possible. As you may have read on Let’s Talk from time to time, the Blogtv numbers appear to be down in recent months. What Let’s Talk does not tell you, so is Stickam’s users. Stickam is the most like Blogtv of the other sites, which allow users to host shows. So while Let’s Talk wants to claim Blogtv is a terribly run company and is falling apart at the seams, lets’ look at the numbers in perspective. Blogtv is a smaller brand than Stickam is, so it will naturally attract less viewers. Stickam is an older medium by a few years than Blogtv, so Blogtv is still getting it’s legs. All of this adds up to Blogtv attracting a smaller portion of users. Hopefully this shines some perspective on the Blogtv user drop and demonstrates the “sky is falling” myth Let’s Talk loves to spread.
